Celebrities and Films Shine at 31st Annual Movieguide Faith & Values Awards Gala

The 31st annual Movieguide Faith & Values Awards Gala & Report was a night filled with excitement and recognition for the best in movies and television. Among the winners of the night were Lori Loughlin, who took home the Grace Prize for her performance in “A Christmas Blessing,” and the Super Mario Bros. Movie, which was named Best Family Film of the year.

The event showcased a variety of categories, with winners including “A Paris Christmas Waltz” for Best Family TV, “Jesus Revolution” for Best Movie for Mature Audiences, and “Chicago P.D. ‘New Life'” for Best TV for Mature Audiences. The Faith & Freedom Award for Movies went to “Sound of Freedom,” while the Faith & Freedom Award for TV was awarded to “A Million Miles Away.” Dennis Quaid received the Grace Prize for Movie Performance for his role in “On a Wing and a Prayer.”

Hosted by Great American Family’s Trevor Donovan and Danica McKellar, the gala also welcomed a star-studded lineup of celebrities, including Candace Cameron Bure, Cameron Mathison, Matthew Morrison, Jen Lilley, and Eric Close. During the event, Lori Loughlin expressed her gratitude for the recognition, stating, “I love making movies, I’m really blessed to do what I love, so thank you.”

The evening was further enriched by musical performances from Dennis Quaid and Blessing Offor. Quaid paid tribute to his friend Kris Kristofferson with a heartfelt phone call and song dedication, while Blessing Offor captivated the audience with his hit “Brighter Days.” The gala concluded with a prayer led by actress and chief creative officer at Great American Family, Candace Cameron Bure.

The 31st Annual Movieguide Faith & Values Awards Gala took place on Friday, February 9th at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood. Great American Family will be replaying the Gala Awards several times before the program becomes available for streaming, allowing audiences to relive the magic of the night and celebrate the achievements of the industry’s brightest stars.
