I’m a huge Louis L’Amour fan. I own literally all of his books and have read them all multiple times. The people who rag on his writing forget that he never intended for his books to be formal history lessons about the American West; he was a mystery/action writer who made sure his books’ settings were historically accurate. That is what makes his books so special.
Cinema gold.
