In a groundbreaking celebration of Mariska Hargitay’s iconic role as Detective Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU, Rockefeller Plaza is set to host a two-day immersive exhibit dedicated to the beloved character. As the longest-running female actress on primetime television, Hargitay’s impact on the entertainment industry is nothing short of extraordinary.
For two days only, on March 14th and 15th, Rockefeller Plaza will be transformed into Olivia Benson Plaza, inviting fans of the show to fully immerse themselves in the world of SVU. From 10 AM to 6 PM, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of unique experiences and activities, all free of charge.
One of the main attractions at Olivia Benson Plaza will be the Benson & Co. Coffee truck, where guests can enjoy specially crafted coffee and tea beverages created in collaboration with La Colombe. Each cup will pay tribute to the beloved characters from SVU and feature intricate latte art.
In addition to the immersive coffee experience, attendees can visit the Fan Shop to pick up SVU-themed friendship bracelets, created in partnership with Little Words Project. A portion of the proceeds from these purchases will go towards supporting Mariska Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Exclusive Memorabilia at Olivia Benson Plaza
As part of the celebration, Olivia Benson Plaza will also feature a kiosk offering a commemorative 25th-anniversary newspaper and an exclusive limited edition T-shirt. These items, created in partnership with the Shop at NBC Studios and Wolf Entertainment, will serve as timeless mementos of this significant milestone for Law & Order: SVU and its beloved characters.
