Their mission is to stall for time until reinforcements from another fort arrive. The men in this small group of malcontents, deserters, psychopaths and cowards all hate Capt. Lance and wish him dead. Much to their chagrin, the men recognize that Lance’s survival instincts, military knowledge and leadership are the only chance the group has of staying alive.
Reviews:
“…I saw this movie when it first came out in France, in my hometown, 54 years ago, I was nine, and today I still remember each black and white frame, especially the black ones, because it was so tense, scary, those sneaking attacks through that dark pass in the mountain, the two soldiers, prisoners forced to fight each other by their captors, the last battle with the uncovering of the wagon with the Gatling in it firing away, the last fight between Peck and the chief, and the Happy End which let me take back my breath. I haven’t seen it since then, and I don’t know if it would be a good idea to see it again today, it was such a fabulous moment for the kid I was.” Written by zatapatique on IMDb.com
“Gregory Peck and Gig Young are competing for the same girl and after Peck sends Young on a very dangerous mission, they blame him for his reasons. Feeling guilty, Peck goes on an almost impossible task of defending a fort, where they are outnumbered by the Indians. Peck chooses for this mission soldiers which he considers to be the scum of the earth and the actors that play these soldiers, Ward Bond, Lon Chaney Jr., Neville Brand among others, are excellent. The script is derived from a novel by Charles Marquis Warren who was a specialist in westerns, as a writer, director and producer. The idea of using this type of men as heroes inspired many films that came out later including “The Dirty Dozen” made in 1967.” Written by tmwest on IMDb.com

Hola estimado puedes poner la pelicula aguila gris del año 1977 en latino no la puedo encontrar creo yo q es la unica que te falta.
Why are the troopers armed with Winchesters instead of the standard 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Carbines?
May be the movie storyline couldn't really showed the truth about what'd being happened in the western country conflicted between the Indian and the cowboys especially the miners and cattle traders who'd being the caused of the conflicted but they'd being supported by the politicians and wealthy entrepreneur company who have the interests of that areas had been provoked the soldiers even bribed the high officer to be on their side and the Indians people get the bad named injustice in the problem that'd being created by the outlaws and forced them to be the rebellion against the Americans government had been declared war against the Indians. The chaos grow bigger into the blood bath battled where both sided would attacked and destroyed the settlement on the opposited.
Good western…except the Indians lost again…only dumb part to the movie was the Apaches shooting out the oil lamps in the canyon…they would have sprayed flaming oil all over and gotten brighter til they burned out…they were obviously electric props they just turned off…that and Ward Bonds terrible drunken songfest…🤫
I hope the military wasn’t really like that.
Gregory Peck Did not make a bad Film. But this is one of the Best one"s. They don"t make them like this any more.
It's a great Gregory Peck movie. I don't like the script. First she's in love with the gentleman Peck. Then an hour later she's out whoring around with the thug officer that man handles her. Then she is upset the thug died. Now she hates the gentleman and Peck is too stupid to tell her…father ordered it. I have to turn off the volume whenever she speaks it's nothing but a bunch of b*****
Ain't watching gig young
Dick is a total Dick
