  22. Marlon Brando plays a real stinker, a bank robber, telling his victim he's a government agent to seduce her after a fiesta and he wants to kill her stepfather who also is a real stinking lying bank robber who fakes his way into a Border town sherriff job.
OK,, Rio escapes from Sonora Prison, in California and takes a sidekick he escaped with, then joins with two other bank robbers, goes to Monterey to rob a bank because the Sheriff is the partner who betrayed him, and that guy hears nothing about the escaped prisoners. They had telegraph lines back then for any population center that had law enforcement or a seaport like Monterey or a railway depot. They could telegraph a photo via telegraph and send wanted posters too.
All that was for was business, ships heading to markets would send cargo information when they left port and the cargo was sold via telegraph and the buyer was waiting to collect when it arrived. Transworld communication was pretty much available by 1858. One Eyed Jacks was set in 1880, there were railroads and telegraph offices all over North America by then. All business ventures relied on them as well as the postal service. If you could time travel back to then, you could be a millionaire in a month if the real business people didn't kill you. Back then if you had an idea or a method to cash in on something you found out, you became a target for murder. Running a business was actually cutthroat if you didn't pay off to the town Marshall or the select men running the County. They would tax you for your farm, your herd, anything you imported, if you make bootleg liquor had a brewery, and that's why it was handy being able to have male children who could handle a shotgun or rifle like on the Western Television series Bonanza.
1:14:37 The pistol Brando is holding is a Colt Single Action Army and Brando fires it Double Action by pulling the trigger without cocking the hammer. Blooper Alert!!

  23. One-Eyed Jacks (Marlon Brando & Stanley Kubrick, 1961) is a western drama film.
After a bank robbery in Mexico and left behind by a business buddy, a man is imprisoned for five years. His partner finds an opportunity to take all the stolen gold.
Years later, the captured man manages to escape from prison, and when he is released, he searches for the criminal in California in a contrast to find out the hidden face of his former partner. In search of revenge, fate will play another trick while love tickles his heart.
    Hugs.

  24. Can anyone help me track down a western. I saw it on UK TV in late 7Os, all I remember is a scene where a bandit dropped lead balls into specially made loops on his moccasins, then kicked the ball like a slingshot to kill the other guys.
